It all comes down to this. The final day of the 2022 Camping World NHRA Drag Racing season is guaranteed to produce drama as champions will be crowned in Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock Motorcycle and a pair of Lucas Oil Series classes. The following are some championship scenarios. There are a variety of possibilities, but these are the most straightforward as NHRA officials will make the official championship announcements.
TOP FUEL
Brittany Force path to championship
Force wins the race she is the champion
Justin Ashley path to championship
Ashley wins the race he is the champion
or
If Force loses in either first or second round, then Ashley could clinch championship by going to final round
Mike Salinas path to championship
If Force loses first round and Ashley loses second round; Salinas reaches final round he is champion
Antron Brown path to championship
If Force loses first round and Ashley loses first round; Brown wins race he is the champion
Steve Torrence path to championship
All three of these things must happen - Force must lose first round; Ashley must lose by second round; Salinas cannot win the race; Brown cannot win the race; Torrence must win race
FUNNY CAR
Robert Hight path to championship
If Hight reaches final round he clinches championship regardless of Capps and/or Hagan performance
If Hight advances one round further than Capps and/or Hagan he is the champion
Ron Capps path to championship
Capps needs to advance two rounds further than Hight.
If Capps and Hight reach semifinals and Capps wins out he will be the champion regardless of Hagan’s performance
If Capps and Hagan reach final round the winner will be champion
Matt Hagan path to championship
Hight must lose in either the first or second round; Hagan must then advance one round further than Capps
PRO STOCK MOTORCYCLE

or
