Sunday’s NFL Week 5 action had a little bit of everything… and a lot of really bad kicking.

I mean, man, what a bad day for NFL kickers. It was like they let a bunch of college kickers up for the day.

Things were so bad that Bengals kicker Evan McPherson celebrated a kick that he thought he made in overtime… but he missed it. For real. You can’t make this stuff up.

It’s time for us to sit back, relax and look at the good, the bad and the hilarious from Sunday’s NFL games.

That’s right, it’s time for me to hand out some very important awards so let’s do this.

Worst smoke machine that makes it dangerous for players: Washington Football Team.

I am stunned(!) that this franchise can’t even get a smoke machine right. I’m kidding. I’m not stunned at all. The smoke machine is so bad, though, that some players have to hold each other so they can make it out of there OK, which is AMAZING.

The worst start to a game after an embarrassing week: This one by the Jags.

After a brutal week of embarrassing headlines surrounding Urban Meyer’s careless decision making off the field, this is how the Jags got things started on the field.

Ouch:

The most confusing/violent celebration between a QB and a coach: This one with Kirk Cousins and Mike Zimmer.

What in the world was going on here after the Vikings’ win on Sunday?

The smartest decision to help your opponent score a TD: Cleveland Browns.

The Browns still lost the game but they needed to help the Chargers score a TD so they would have some time to try to rally for a win.

But still, this was wild to see.

Best job of celebrating a missed field goal: Evan McPherson.

The Bengals’ kicker thought he had made this kick in OT.

He did not.

The team with the most surprising opening drive: The Houston Texans.

They went on to lose the game to the Patriots but still, this was a pretty impressive/surprising start.

Best job of being amazingly consistent: Trevon Diggs.

Five straight games with an INT and six total on the year?! Diggs isn’t messing around.

The worst job of defending a Hail Mary: Washington's DBs.

This was way too easy for New Orleans. I mean, do SOMETHING, Washington!
