JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - According to Jackson Police Department’s Facebook page, a 7-month-old baby was taken from the Shell on Beasley Road Saturday evening inside of a car.
The car is a white hatchback and was last seen traveling south on I-55 from Beasley Road.
According to JPD, the suspect abandoned the vehicle around 8 p.m. Saturday at Brent’s in Fondren before law enforcement arrived.
The child was found at the scene unharmed but was taken to a local hospital as a precaution.
This is an ongoing investigation.
