Miami International Auto Show 2021 returns to the Miami Beach Convention Center October 16-24.

This year’s auto show is expected to feature hundreds of new cars, trucks, SUVs and crossovers along with some of the industry’s most highly anticipated and talked about EVs making their South Florida debuts.

Major auto manufacturers have announced plans to unveil new vehicles at this year’s auto show.  Among the highlights are the U.S. auto show debut of the all-new, next generation 2023 Nissan Z and Florida debut of Toyota’s 2022 Corolla Cross.

Such crowd pleasing exhibits as Camp Jeep, Memory Lane and Car Boutique will once again be featured.  Toyota will host a Ride & Drive just outside the entrance to the show inviting attendees to get behind the wheel of some of their new cars, SUVs and trucks.  The Official

Show Car for this year’s auto show is the 2021 Chevy Corvette Stingray LT2.

Among the vintage autos featured in Memory Lane are a 1948 Nash Ambassador Custom Cabriolet, believed to be one of only 60 of its kind in existence today, and Five Corvettes that were once owned by the legendary pop artist Peter Max and are part of the “greatest Corvette barn find” in history.  The cars are part of a collection commonly referred to around the automotive world as “The Lost Corvettes.”

The five Lost Corvettes being showcased at the Miami International Auto Show are:

  • 1953, the first year of the Corvette and one of only 300 built
  • 1956, which features the rare color of Cascade Green and is the actual car Jerry Seinfeld drove on an episode of “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.”
  • 1966, a coupe in the Nassau Blue color with a white interior
  • 1967, a replica of the famous Ko-Motion Corvette
  • 1969, a replica of the rarest production Corvette, the ZL1

Miami International Auto Show 2021 is committed to providing a safe environment for exhibitors and attendees.  Masks and social distancing are required as mandates by Miami-Dade County and the Miami Beach Convention Center.

“We believe that our show will be a wonderful event for South Floridians to attend and enjoy,” said Rick Baker, show manager.  “Our community has supported the auto show for so many years and we look forward to welcoming everyone back.”

Park Me Miami Beach is a free Miami Beach Parking app that helps attendees find parking near the Auto Show. The Miami Beach Parking app shows available parking and rates for lots & garages including real-time occupancy info for certain facilities.

Originally scheduled for February 2021, the auto show was postponed to the fall where it

has been a mainstay for nearly 50 years.

Admission to the auto show is $13 for adults, $6 children ages 6-12 and free for children 5 and under. A $3.00 discount on admission will be extended to first responders, heath care workers and active duty military with valid identification.  Residents of Miami Beach can also enjoy a $3.00 reduced admission with proof of residency.
