Austin, Texas — One person has died after being struck by a vehicle in East Austin Friday night.
Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the auto-pedestrian collision at 6:49 p.m. near Aiport Boulevard and Manor Road.
At 7:04 p.m., ATCEMS said the adult was pronounced dead on scene after CPR efforts were unsuccessful.

Officials ask commuters to avoid the area and to expect extended road closures for the investigation.
