CLEVELAND, Ohio – The most talked about track on Machine Gun Kelly’s new album “Tickets to My Downfall” may be an interlude.
The album’s second to last track is titled “Banyan Tree (Interlude)” and features a recording of an intimate conversation between MGK and his girlfriend Megan Fox.
“Do you want to listen to interlude while we sit here?” Fox asks a hungover Kellz, who replies yes.
The 34-year-old actress then asks Machine Gun Kelly if he remembers the things they do together or if being high or drunk prevents him from doing so. His response is not just yes, but “I’d burn other memories just to make room for those ones.”
Fox then goes on to say, “That was four months ago that we were right here and I met you.” She is likely referring to Puerto Rico. The two met while filming “Midnight in the Switchgrass” on location in the commonwealth earlier this year.
It’s hard to know exactly where they were when the recording takes place. However, because the interlude is titled “Banyan Tree,” it could be referring to the popular El San Juan Hotel in Puerto Rico which has a famous 200-year-old Banyan tree located adjacent to the hotel’s pool and lounge.
Again none of that is confirmed in the recording. However, Fox does reveal that MGK got her initials tattooed on him, while she got his nickname tattooed on her.
The interlude closes out with Machine Gun Kelly going into full emo mode, singing “She loves a boy so much. She wants him to steal her breath…”
MGK then says, “If the world was coming to an end, I don’t want to close my eyes without feeling like I lived.”
Fox replies, “Same.”
MGK and Fox made headlines this summer when they were photographed making out in Los Angeles. It was confirmed that Fox had separated from husband Brian Austin Green and was now dating Machine Gun Kelly, real name Colson Baker.
Fox also appeared in MGK’s video for the single “Bloody Valentine,” which went on to win an MTV Video Music Award. The video has nearly 40 million views on YouTube in just four months.
For what’s it’s worth, Fox also can be heard in the background on another one of the album’s interlude, “Kevin and Barracuda,” which features MGK’s phone conversation with BFF Pete Davidson.
