Police probe deadly shooting outside Opa-locka auto body shop - WPLG Local 10

OPA-LOCKA, Fla. – Authorities in Opa-locka are still investigating a shooting that occurred around midday Monday in which two people suffered gunshot wounds and one died.

The shooting happened in front of the Exit Auto Enterprises shop along the 2300 block of Ali Baba Avenue, near the corner of Northwest 22nd Avenue.

Local 10 News spoke Tuesday with the boss of the man who died. He said the second man shot worked at a car shop nearby and was hit in the leg.

Authorities have not released the identities of the people shot.

One of the victims was taken by helicopter to Jackson Memorial Hospital and the other by ambulance to Aventura Medical Center.
