NBA fans all figured the Cleveland Cavaliers would be trading — or at least attempting to trade! — veteran forward Andre Drummond by the 2021 deadline so they could get something back for his expiring (and very expensive, at $28.7 million this season) contract.

Sure enough, we have a report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Briant Windhorst: the Cavs will bench Drummond as they attempt to move him before the March 25th deadline.

That sent fans to ESPN’s Trade Machine and TradeNBA as they came up with some ideas on deals to get Drummond out of Cleveland. Here are a few that they came up with:

1 Drummond to the Knicks

This is from a few days ago, and it’s not a bad one for the Cavs!

2 Drummond to the Knicks Pt. 2

I like adding in the Nets to get Landry Shamet to Cleveland.

3 A blockbuster to the Nets

As soon as the words “… for Spencer and Joe–” come out Koby Altman’s mouth, Sean Marks ends the call and laughs for about 30 minutes straight.

4 Drummond to the Raptors

I think the Raps say no to this one, Norman Powell is too valuable.

5 A four-team blockbuster

Who says no here? Maybe … everyone except the Thunder?

6 Drummond to the Raps ... and Kyle Lowry to the Mavericks?

Uh OK.
