TAMPA — Police found a 29-year-old man dead Tuesday in West Tampa, the Tampa Police Department said.
Just before 1 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to a report of a person found dead in the garage bay of an auto body shop at 1919 W St. Joseph St. Officers found a man dead at the scene with upper body trauma, according to a news release Wednesday from the Tampa Police Department. Business websites say the address has been the location of Hosanna Auto Repair.
Police didn’t identify the man. Detectives are investigating the death as a homicide.
