TOOELE, Utah — Police are still cleaning up on Main Street in Tooele after multiple accidents involving a semi and a fire at an auto dealership.
According to Cpl. Colbey Bentley with the Tooele City Police Department, a semi-truck ran into multiple other vehicles and caught fire at the intersection of 1000 North and Tooele’s Main St./SR 36.
Both directions of SR-36 are now open and traffic flow through the area has returned to normal.
Bentley said a total of 11 people were injured as a result of the accident.

According to the Tooele City Police Department, at least one person is in critical condition and was airlifted out. An ambulance is on standby at local hospitals, ready to transport patients to Salt Lake City.
Along with this, the fire spread to the Tooele Auto Mall, Bentley said.
The Tooele City Fire Department was on the scene.
