In the lawsuit, the company is claiming more than $500,000 in damages. Attorneys for the Dan O'Brien Auto Group denied any wrongdoing and claimed the practices outlined in the complaint are actually encouraged by Kia. They also said the vehicles were never resold as new cars. Lawyers for Dan O'Brien Auto Group said they're planning countermeasures in court, including a motion to dismiss. Kia told News 9 it does not comment on pending litigation.
